🎨 Your Challenge, Should You Choose to Accept it ...
In a graphic novel or a comic, the story is told in images and dialogue, with a very small amount of narration or exposition. As an experiment, create a short series of panels to design a scene. This scene may be one you plan to include in your story, or it may be an important moment for your character that helps you get to know them, but that might not show up in the narrative. It could even be a backstory moment.
If you're not sure what scene to choose, consider one of these options:
- An embarrassing moment
- A big win
- A meaningful birthday
- A disappointment
- A bonding moment with a friend
- A funny or memorable mishap
